Where The Good Stuff Is

Remember that time in your life when you were free? Really free, the kind of freedom where the whole world was just one big playground pretty much all the time.  The time before life got real.  Real meaning we got bumped into having the responsibility of providing some service for the betterment of society or your family or whoever it may be.

In that time of life of endless freedom, we learned to adventure through a world of endless possibilities.  So many things were new and fun.  Opportunities seemed endless to see new places, have new experiences, meet fun new people with the same free time.

For me, that time could be summed up as something about like this:

Everything since has more or less be one big pursuit of little pieces of that time.  Give me a little free time and I'll do everything in my power to get away and see something new, have some new experience, get in some big adventure.  To live a good life is to have a great amount of curiosity.  Adventuring is the greatest way I've found to satiate that hunger, if only temporarily.

In less than three weeks, our adventure group out of Boise is headed into highly remote sections of Utah and Arizona and my mind is a buzz with anticipation.  What lies ahead is always the driving question that I eagerly await to find out!
